Class Description:
Pop-up cards are fun and addictive to make and even better to share! This class is perfect for making fun holiday cards! We’ll explore a very simple way to create basic pop-up structures that you can embellish with your own images and create your own magical wonderlands!
Class Date & Hours: Saturday, October 19 - 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
Class fee: Members: $35.00 Non-Paperworks members: $75.00
Location: Zoom - The class will be recorded and will be available for 1 year.

Instructor Bio:
Rosemary Rae is a creative director/designer, artist, and design educator living in San Diego, CA. A graduate of Moore College of Art & Design and Vermont College of Fine Arts, she currently works in publishing creating book covers, calendars, and kits that are sold nationwide. In addition to designing her unique line of letter-pressed greeting cards, she also creates collages and artist books, which have been featured in many juried exhibitions. Her collection of ten hand-colored/designed board books were featured as part of the “Necessary Departure” exhibition at the San Diego International Airport from November 2022-January 2024.

Supply List:
• 4-6 sheets of colored, cover-weight paper with templates printed and images ready to cut out (11 x 8.5 sheets of paper will be cut to size)
• Optional: Two sheets of Decorative paper for card covers (11 x 8.5 sheets of paper)
• PVA glue and brush, glue stick, hot glue gun, or double stick tape
• Self-healing mat and X-acto knife
• Scissors
• Bone folder
• Scrap paper (to cover the work surface when gluing)
• Paper punches (optional)
• Scrap or decorative embellishments, rubber stamps (optional)
