Artist Statement
Having received certain gifts, vision and skills, I've felt a responsibility to share my art with the public in the last few years. 
I think of myself as a multimedia artist, I choose a medium for developing a painting based on the colors, lighting and consequent feeling at the time of observation. Watercolor for me portrays innocence, while use of acrylic media indicates a strong interaction between person or animal and the surrounding environment. 
Exploration beyond reality engages my abstract mind, where mixed media collage is a means to engage the viewer in considering a deeper element or psychological aspect regarding actions taken and life changes due to lack of awareness. A possible consequence of one person's thoughtless action may result in an expression of beauty to another. Or it may inform the viewer that a future tragedy might occur if people don't heed nature's call to be responsible for choices and action. Repurposing materials is also possible with collage, and contributes to reducing waste for the landfill.
The works submitted for this gallery reflect my current experience with championing environmental awareness in replicating my dreams. 

Biography
Having a natural curiosity for learning, Ms. Ganz has attained multiple degrees, several with honors. Primarily a self-taught artist, she continues to refine her approach to artistic expression by choosing a medium based on textures, color and an interpretation of the subject matter under observation. Currently, as a Certified Professional Integrative Coach with experience in Wholistic Health treatments, Rebecca considers the whole person rather than focusing solely on the symptoms, illness or disease. This system of practice provides the foundation for her work with assisting other artists in reaching their goals. She belongs to multiple artists organizations and enjoys sharing news of each organization with members of the other groups. She is the owner of Syntography, LLC, and affiliated company Collective Coaching and Coachrganz.com
