Artist Bio / Artist Statement:

In an effort to capture the magnificence of the National Parks and Monuments of the great southwest, as well as local and regional parks, the medium of photography is used. Living in a desert environment provides the opportunity to witness and take advantage of the changing seasons and variations in weather patterns to record the capricious and often fleeting nuances of the desert landscape, while the abundant evidence left by those who have gone before contribute ample opportunity for recording the essence of ancient historic achievement.
