Biography
I have been an artist my whole life, confirmed by my mystified non-artist parents, as they continued to supply me with paper, crayons, paints, books and education. After studying design, art history and photography at Arizona State University, I continued experimenting with many different art mediums. During this time I became a Certified Decorative Artist through the National Society of Decorative Painters, affording me an opportunity to teach European folk art painting for 20 years. After discovering mixed media and bookmaking in 2000, my artistic path clarified. When not making art, I’m a world traveler, photographer, and docent at the Tucson Museum of Art.

Artist Statement
My work reflects my interest in design and mixed media. Bookmaking allows me to combine my passion for collage, photography, and many different art mediums into the format of a book as a work of art.
