Serendipity Show

Bring Your Work for the Serendipity Show to the January 2nd meeting

Announcement: January Serendipity Show Updates

Stevie Mack has generously offered to assist members with transporting their artwork for the upcoming Serendipity Show at RLV.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Bring your artwork to the general meeting on January 2nd, at St. Francis.

  • Stevie will collect and transport any work submitted for the Serendipity Show to RLV for hanging on Wednesday, January 3rd. This is a great option for members who prefer not to make the long drive themselves.

Mark Your Calendars:
The Opening Reception for the Serendipity Show will be held on Sunday, January 12, from 2:00–4:00 PM.

If you’d like Stevie to take your work, be sure to bring it to the January 2nd meeting. Let’s make this a fantastic show!

Driving Directions:

Take Oracle Road (AZ 77) north to the town of Oracle. Exit at American Avenue and make a right across from the Circle K; at the stop sign at the end of this short street, make a left at the T. Stay on Calle Futura as you wind around the hill on your right, until to come to the Y. Go down the right side of the Y to the stop sign. Turn right onto Linda Vista Road. Continue down Linda Vista Road to the Ranch. Watch for the RLV sign on the left and go down the long driveway and park in the open area at the bottom. The Gallery is a short walk up the road to the right.

Theme: Serendipity
Serendipity is the occurrence of events by chance happily or beneficially—an unplanned yet fortunate discovery. Artists often encounter serendipity during the creative process. How does it influence your work? Do you find yourself guided by chance? Members are invited to submit two works that reflect this theme and the phenomenon of serendipity.

Submission Details:

  • Media: 2D and 3D works in all media accepted

  • Size Limit: Works must be 24” x 24” or smaller

  • Presentation Requirements: All works must be professionally presented, framed, and equipped with wire hangers, ready for display

  • Sale of Work: All submitted works must be for sale, with pricing reflective of the current Tucson art market. The gallery retains a 15% commission on all sales

How to Participate:
To participate, please email steviemack83@gmail.com by November 1, 2024, with the subject line: Paperworks Jan. 2025 Exhibit (2D or 3D). The first 34 members to submit will be selected to exhibit, and you will be notified by November 2, 2024, if you are included.
