Artist Statement
​
The unconscious is not a machine, but is an organic intuitive consciousness beyond reason and mechanics, hence the term "mantic" or visionary arises, relating drawings to other "magical arts" such as divination, tarot, mediumship and clairvoyance.  I turned to Carl Gustav Jung's Analytical Psychology to explain active imagination and elaborate contents of the unconscious. I was interested in the healing function of art as a border between reason and intuition to make this essential material of psychological experience conscious.

The passion for intense colors very familiar to her Mexican origin inspired her to explore the emotions related to life experience.Outside his country for so long he felt the longing and melancholy of his culture, family and everything known as Mexican identity, seeking to fill that void and resolve depression and melancholy.Currently she is concerned with Peace Education for a world free of violence in general, but above all in the abolition of violence against women, focusing her work on the emotional support of abused women and children/adolescents in search of a new life, overcoming Post Traumatic Stress and its serious consequences through art and creative process, interpretation of personal dreams and individual accompaniment.
