Artist Statement
I enjoy exploring all art media - collage, bookmaking, jewelry, stitching, mixed media, photography... I typically focus on one or two media for a while and then move on to something else, eventually returning to something I’ve done before, often taking it in a new direction or simply refining the process. A workshop or new art material can also inspire me to explore something entirely new. I am a teacher, both by profession and with respect to my art. I have taught workshops in Gelli-Plate printing, soldering, and bookmaking.

My work can be found in private collections as well as the permanent collection of the University of Arizona Poetry Center. I have exhibited at the University of Arizona Special Collections Library, art shows and the U of A Poetry Center. My articles and tutorials have appeared in several national publications.
