Erin Newman

Artist Bio / Artist Statement: Erin Newman is a talented paper artist who has developed skills in various paper techniques since 2016. Erin’s creative journey showcases the versatility of paper as an artistic medium.

Her evolution from paper quilling to other paper artworks shows a dedication to exploring all forms of paper in art. She uses the phrase "It's All Paper" to encompass her work and her ongoing exploration of paper-based art forms.

Erin has expanded into making art and junk journals using recycled books. She has also ventured into Cartonnage, the art of box making. Erin enjoys using Japanese and handmade papers, as well as fabrics, to cover her boxes and journals.

Erin's journey in paper art is a great example of how an artist can continually find new ways to express creativity within a specific medium. Her exploration of different techniques and forms within paper art demonstrates a commitment to pushing the boundaries of her chosen material.
